The causes of gastric cancer

1, Exposure to chemical carcinogens: nitroso compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons associated with gastric cancer. In nature there are a lot of precursor of nitroso compounds. These precursor complexes will synthesize into nitroso compounds in the acidic environment of the stomach. The stomach is the main place of synthesis. If there is pathological changes in gastric mucosa, these carcinogens will enter in the gastric mucosa. These carcinogens are found in fermented food, fish sauce, smoked food and barbecue. If you often eat these foods, they will undoubtedly increase the chances of absorbing these carcinogens.

2, Salty food: Salt itself cannot cause cancer, but salt of high concentration can damage gastric mucosa, making the human body susceptible to carcinogenic substance .

3, helicobacter pylori infection: h. pylori can cause acute gastritis, and then transform into chronic gastritis. The gastric mucosa will be damaged and susceptible to carcinogens.

4, Heredity. Those who are with a family history of cancer have significantly higher risk of suffering from cancer than the general people. Those whose parent suffers from cancer have four times more chances of developing cancer.

5, smoking
Smoke has a variety of carcinogenic substances which can be dissolved in the saliva and enter into the stomach. It has been found that smoking can make gastric mucosa change and cause intestinal metaplasia which is a precancerous lesion.

6, vitamin deficiency: Swiss experts believe that people with low protective vitamin in the body are more susceptible to cancer. Vitamin A deficiency can increase the risk of lung cancer by three times; Those who have vitamin E deficiency in people have higher risk of developing oral cancer, skin cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer.
